About porous concrete
About porous concrete
Porous concrete is also known as water-permeable concrete. With its excellent water permeability (draining ability), water retention, sound absorption, and silencing properties, porous concrete has gained attention as a building material that can handle and solve today’s environmental problems, such as the heat island effect, torrential rainstorms, and noise pollution. Porous concrete is used in a variety of concrete structures.
Furthermore, at E-Crete, we are independently deploying multi-layered porous concrete with exceptional designability in cooperation with Mie University.

The basic structure of multi-layered porous concrete
Surface layer
The surface layer of multi-layered porous concrete is made from natural gravel and a resin-based bonding agent (transparent). As the surface is made-to-order, it doesn’t follow a specific mold but can be designed to suit various uses and purposes.
